Warrenpoint Town and Dungannon Swifts played out an eight goal thriller in the sunshine at Milltown with 'Point eventually emerging winners.
Lee Duffy fired 'Point in front as early as the sixth minute when he got on the end of a Ciaran O'Connor through ball to slot home.
The Swifts wasted an opportunity to level a little later in the half when Conall McGrandles upended Kris Lowe but Paul McElroy saw his subsequent spot-kick turn around the post by keeper Jared Thompson.
Warrenpoint extended their advantage on 22 minutes after Matthew Lynch's free-kick fell for Danny Wallace to head it over Alex Moore's head.
Dungannon pulled a goal back a couple of minutes after that thanks to Rhyss Campbell's poke under Thompson.
Then, just after the half hour mark, the visitors levelled after McElroy redeemed himself for his squandered penalty with a close range finish from Alan Teggart's pass.
Remarkably, Kris Lindsay's side then moved in front themselves before the break courtesy of Michael Carvill's chip over Thompson from the tighest of angles.
Back came Warrenpoint on 57 minutes with Wallace's second of the game, a smashed finish into the roof of the net after Moore failed to hold onto Eamon Scannell's corner.
Stephen McDonnell's side then regained the lead six minutes after that when Josh Lynch bypassed the offside trap to calmly finish beyond Moore while, in stoppage time, Fra McCaffrey rounded the scoring off after break free to finish under Moore.
