GLENTORAN remain the only unbeaten side this season following this victory over Lisburn Distillery at The Oval.

Andy Waterworth might have opened the scoring for the Glens after just six minutes after being played through by David Howland only for Whites 'keeper Lee Windrum to rush out to save at his feet.

And he came close again after half-an-hour when he beat the offside trap only for Windrum to again snuff out the danger.

At the other end Elliott Morris had to be sharp to tip a Gary Liggett header over and pull off a save to deny Scott Davidson.

But the deadlock was broken a minute from the break after Richard Clarke pounced on the loose ball from a Howland effort.

The Whites almost levelled on 52 minutes when Andy Hunter brought out the best in Morris who was forced to produce an outstanding save to turn his close range effort past an upright.

However, Waterworth doubled Glentoran's lead on 65 minutes with an unstoppable shot beyond Windrum after connecting with a Jim O'Hanlon cross.

He then completed the scoring a minute from time by coolly taking the ball past Windrum and into the net from a Clarke delivery.
