Institute reached the third round of the BetMcLean League Cup with a 4-3 victory over PSNI at the Limavady Showgrounds.
'Stute raced into a two-goal lead inside the opening half-an-hour through Jamie Dunne and an own goal from Kyle McCleery.
Cameron Lannie pulled one back for the PSNI early in the second half but it wasn't long before Brendan McLaughlin restored Institute's two-goal cushion.
However Benjamin Magee added a second for the away side on the hour although, again, 'Stute moved back two goals to the good a few minutes after that.
Magee knocked home his second of the evening with just over a quarter-of-an-hour remaining but Institute held on to secure their progression to the next round.
