FOCUS switches to the IRN-BRU League Cup tonight as 16 teams will battle it out for a place in the quarter-finals, with the IRN-BRU promotion team heading to Coleraine to treat the fans to some free goodies.

Oran Kearney's Coleraine welcome Linfield to the Showgrounds as they look go all the way in this season's competition and pile more misery on David Jeffrey's men after their home defeat to Ballinamallard Utd in the Danske Bank Premiership on Saturday.

The Mallards have been a revelation since their promotion to the top flight and travel to Solitude hoping for a repeat of their 1-0 win against Cliftonville in the league four weeks ago. However the Reds will be out for revenge and with Liam Boyce playing arguably some of the best football of his career, tonight's game promises to be another thrilling encounter.

Each of the remaining six games are Premiership v. Championship affairs with Ballymena Utd playing HW Welders at the Showgrounds, Bangor looking to take the scalp of Portadown at Clandeboye Park, whilst Carrick Rangers play their old landlords Crusaders. Glenavon are at home to Dergview, Glentoran travel to Institute, and Lisburn Distillery aim to put their poor league form to one side when they take on Coagh United at New Grosvenor.

All games kick-off at 7.45pm.
