JBE TO SPONSOR LEAGUE CUP

THE NI Football League are delighted to announce that JBE Mechanical Electrical are the new sponsors of the League Cup for the 2015/16 season.

The JBE League Cup, as the competition will be known, kicks off its first round on Tuesday 18 August and represents a significant investment in local football by the Ballymena-based company.

Andrew Johnston, NI Football League Managing Director, said: "To secure JBE as the sponsor of our League Cup is fantastic news for the NIFL and our clubs.
The League Cup is our top knockout competition and has created so many exciting games and Finals over the years, none more so than last season’s thrilling final in which Cliftonville retained the trophy for the third year in 3-2 to beat Ballymena United 3-2.  With JBE’s support the League Cup will undoubtedly be just as exciting during what is our 125th anniversary season."

John Blair, Managing Director of JBE commented,   "We feel this League Cup sponsorship will be fantastic for developing our company brand and subsequently will increase visibility in our marketplace.  As a long life supporter of Ballymena United Football Club, we hope that our local team can go one step closer in this competition and lift the trophy!"
