Gavin Whyte struck twice to send Crusaders through to the last 16 at the expense of Championship opponents Knockbreda.
Whyte put the Crues in front four minutes from the break with a stunning effort into the top corner from 30 yards.
Substitute Dylan Wilson levelled for 'Breda with just under a quarter-of-an-hour remaining when he made the most of some poor defending to get in between Graeme McKibbin and Barry Molloy to score.
However, Matthew Snoddy restored home advantage on 82 minutes after getting on the end of a Billy Joe Burns cross before Whyte added the insurance goal with a long range drive a couple of minutes into added time.
