Champions League action returns to Northern Ireland this evening when Linfield host Norwegian visitors Rosenborg BK in the First Qualifying Round at Windsor Park, kick-off 7:45pm.

Rosenborg are no strangers to these shores, having previously locked horns with the Blues in European competition in 1986/87 and 2010/11. And, even more recently than that, they faced Crusaders in the Europa League in consecutive seasons earlier this decade (2012/13 & 2013/14).

Currently in the middle of their domestic season, Rosenborg sit seventh in the Eliteserien and come into the game on the back of victories over Ranheim and Kristiansund.

Linfield prepared for the game with friendlies against Scottish Premiership duo St. Johnstone and Motherwell while boss David Healy strengthened his panel this week with the signing of Frenchman Bastien Héry from Waterford who will be available for the game.

The ticket office at the rear of the Railway Stand opens at 6:15pm, with tickets priced at £12 (adults)/£8 (concession).
