The Danske Bank Women's Premiership continues tonight as we preview the matches in gameweek 12 of the 2019 campaign. Derry City sit out this round of action but did go down 7-0 at Sion Swifts earlier in the week.

Cliftonville Ladies v Linfield (venue: Solitude; kick-off 8pm)

Cliftonville have not played since their Irish Cup quarter-final exit at the hands of Glentoran at the beginning of the month but will be keen to make it three league wins on the bounce. The Reds defeated both Derry City and Comber Rec. in June but will be aware this will be one of the biggest tests of the season as they welcome league holders Linfield to North Belfast.

The Blues suffered their first league defeat of the campaign in their most recent fixture when they were edged out 1-0 at home to Glentoran, who replaced them at the top of the standings. Phil Lewis' side have won seven of their opening nine league games.

Linfield have won ten of the last 11 meetings - including a 5-0 victory in the reverse at Midgley Park earlier this season - but the Reds eliminated them from this season's County Antrim Cup.

Crusaders Strikers v. Glentoran Women (venue: Seaview; kick-off 8pm)

League leading Glentoran will be hopeful of making it three wins from three against Crusaders this season as they travel to the north of Belfast. The Glens won the league meeting between the two earlier in the campaign 5-0 - Demi Vance and Rachel Rogan both netted doubles - but there was only one goal between the sides in their League Cup semi-final.

The Glens have won eight matches in a row across all competitions and have lifted the League Cup and won 1-0 at Linfield in that run. Crusaders have lost each of their last two league games but led late at Linfield recently before eventually going down to a narrow 3-2 defeat.

The Glens have won each of the last five fixtures between the sides.

Sion Swifts Ladies v. Comber Rec. Ladies (venue: Melvin Sports Complex; kick-off 8pm)

Sion Swifts ran out comfortable 7-0 victors over Derry City on Monday night and will be hoping to continue their good form at home to struggling Comber Rec.

The Strabane-based side are unbeaten since the opening day of the campaign in the league and are within just two points off the league summit, while a victory here would further ramp up the pressure on both Glentoran and Linfield.

Lauren Brennan struck five times for the visitors while Kelly Crompton and Chloe McGlade each netted twice and Tyler Toland also found the target as Sion ran out 10-0 victors at Comber earlier in the campaign. The visitors have collected just one point this campaign.
