Linfield Ladies winger and Northern Ireland international Louise McDaniel has signed for English club Blackburn Rovers, it has been confirmed.

Now aged 19, McDaniel scored on her Linfield debut aged 14 and last year netted six goals in one match against Derry City, as she blossomed into one of Northern Ireland’s brightest prospects.

She has represented her nation during the 2019 World Cup Qualifying campaign and has won multiple trophies with Linfield - including three successive league titles, three League Cups and two Irish Cups.

McDaniel is the latest Danske Bank Women’s Premiership star to move to England after former Blues teammate Megan Bell joined Durham and Sion Swifts midfielder Tyler Toland was signed by Manchester City.
