In what is turning into a productive week at Mourneview Park midfielder Jack O'Mahony has become the latest Glenavon player to sign on for an extended stay.

The 20-year-old has negotiated a two-year extension with manager Gary Hamilton after 16 appearances across all competitions during the 2019/20 campaign.

A Northern Ireland youth international, O'Mahony first joined the Lurgan Blues as a schoolboy from Crusaders back in June 2016, and has picked up additional experience with a couple of brief spells at HW Welders along the way.

Along with Robbie Norton, Ross Hunter and Oisin Barr he is the latest young player this year to confirm his commitment to the club, in addition to the signings of Sean Ward, Peter Campbell and Matthew Fitzpatrick.
