Glentoran Women will be without midfielder Emma McMaster for the remainder of the campaign following surgery on a knee injury.

The Northern Ireland international suffered lateral ligament damage and will now miss the season for the Glens, who are one of four teams joint top of the Danske Bank Women’s Premiership after four rounds of action.

McMaster scored the only goal of the game in last year’s Women's Irish Cup final win for the East Belfast side against Linfield, having joined from Cliftonville that season.

The 21-year-old is now starting her road to recovery.
