Josh Robinson has made the switch back to Crusaders on a three year deal after spending last season with Larne.

The 28-year-old was previously at Seaview for four years between 2012 and 2016 during which time he picked up two league titles with Crues.

He then crossed the channel to join York City, which included a loan spell with Boston United, before returning to these shores for three seasons with Linfield.

Crusaders boss Stephen Baxter paid tribute to his latest acquisition via the club social media channels.

"He's six foot two, he's quick, aggressive, he scores goals and marks tight. He's everything you want in a centre-half," he said.

"He's had those attributes since he was 12 years old, that's why Rangers, Linfield, York and Larne wanted him. This is the level of football he's played at but he's a good age, he's a leader now, he's been around the block.

"He brings an awful lot with his experience and that's what you're looking for in a big-time player."
