Linfield have one foot in the next round of the UEFA Conference League courtesy of a thumping four-goal victory over Borac Banja Luka at Windsor Park.

It only took the Blues a couple of minutes to race into the lead when Michael Newberry sent a half volley home after Christy Manzinga had glanced on a perfectly delivered Trai Hume right-sided cross.

Linfield's second came on 25 minutes, with Manzinga this time getting his name on the scoresheet with a thunderous blast into the top corner after running onto a Stephen Fallon through ball.

Number three came with a quarter-of-an-hour remaining. Again Fallon was involved, laying the ball off for Matthew Clarke who then sent a low cross over for skipper Jamie Mulgrew to turn home into the bottom corner.

A fourth almost came right on 90 minutes when Hume almost lobbed the keeper only for a defender to clear it off the line.

But David Healy's charges weren't to be denied a couple of minutes into stoppage time when Jimmy Callacher connected with Kirk Millar's corner to send a bullet header beyond Bojan Pavlović.
