Dundela, Annagh United and Loughgall all won on the road to maintain their 100% start to the season, while there were also victories for Ballyclare Comrades and Knockbreda from the second round of Lough 41 Championship fixtures.

Loughgall kicked the weekend off with a five-goal thumping of Ards at Clandeboye Park on Friday evening thanks to goals from Andrew Hoey, Jamie Rea, Nathaniel Ferris, Aaron Walsh and Pablo Andrade.

It took two late goals for Annagh United to get the better of Institute at the Brandywell. Jack Coyle edged 'Stute in front right at the end of the first half with a side foot finish but goals in the final ten minutes from Jordan Campbell and Craig Taylor gave the home side no way back.

Rhys Annett also bagged a late double for Dundela as they swept to a 3-0 win over Warrenpoint Town at Milltown. William Faulkner fired the Duns in front around the half-hour mark with Annett making sure with on the 83rd and 85th minutes.

Anthony Burns grabbed two goals in Knockbreda' 4-2 home win over HW Welders. He was joined on the scoresheet by Lee McGreevy, who also hit a double, while Oisin Barr and Callum Byers found the net for the Welders.

Ballyclare Comrades matched that result away to Dergview. Scoreless at the break, Ian Fletcher struck just after the hour with Liam Hassin adding a second on 77 minutes before Calvin McCurry wrapped things up in stoppage time.

Meanwhile, at Ferney Park, Gary Warwick fired Newington in front just after the half-hour mark with Ben McCann levelling for Ballinamallard United just before the break.
