Larne have announced the signing of midfielder Shea Gordon from Scottish Championship club Partick Thistle.

The former Northern Ireland U21 international arrives at Inver Park after spending the last four years at Firhill, although he did go out on loan to Queen of the South for a spell last season.

His early career saw him progress from the Dungannon Swifts youth system before joining Sheffield United as a teenager before moving north of the border with Motherwell.

Speaking to the official club website, the 24-year-old said: "I’m delighted to have this move confirmed and I just can’t wait to get started.

“I’ve been talking to Tiernan for a few weeks now and was really impressed with the facilities Larne has both for training and matchdays – it’s top class.

“Being able to stay in a full-time environment was also a big pull for me and the bonus of European football is something I’m really looking forward to.”
