Ten Danske Bank Women's Premiership stars helped Northern Ireland secure a 2-1 win away to Luxembourg in their latest World Cup qualifier.

Seven locally based players started the game as Glentoran Women duo Joely Andrews and Chloe McCarron joined Crusaders Strikers defender Julie Nelson and Cliftonville Ladies quartet Caitlin McGuinness, Kirsty McGuinness, Marissa Callaghan and Louise McDaniel.

Glens pair Nadene Caldwell and Caragh Hamilton, back from injury, were second half substitutes alongside Abbie Magee.

Sarah McFadden and Rebecca McKenna - formerly of Linfield Ladies - were on the scoresheet as Northern Ireland secured the win.
