Ballymacash Rangers donned their shooting boots to open up a five point gap at the top of the Lough 41 Premier Intermediate League while there were also victories for Banbridge Town, Queen’s University and Portstewart.

Lee Forsythe’s side hit five goals without reply past the PSNI at the Bluebell Stadium with all the scoring coming during a blistering first half performance.

Curtis Woods opened the scoring after five minutes, Michael Moore struck with a double midway through the first half, Dylan Davidson added a fourth on 39 minutes and Jack Smith found the net in stoppage time.

Queen’s University consolidated third spot with a 2-1 defeat of Armagh City at The Dub.

Ronan Young opened the scoring with his right foot after half-an-hour before adding a second not long after the break. James Convie did pull one back for the Eagles but it wasn’t enough to spark a revival by the visitors.

Dollingstown stay fourth following a scoreless draw at home to Moyola Park while Portstewart withstood a Tobermore United comeback to win at Fortwilliam Park.

Ryan Doherty and Ryan Campbell had fired the Seahawks into a commanding lead by the half-hour mark, with Glenn Law making it 3-0 early in the second half. However Declan Martin and substitute Daniel Barfoot registered for United to set up a grandstand finish.

Meanwhile, at Crystal Park, Niall Cassidy hit a 93rd minute winner as Banbridge Town defeated Lisburn Distillery by the odd goal in five.

Michael McCavitt had edged Town in front on 19 minutes, Jourdan Shearer levelled on 33, Zach Gorman restored home advantage around the hour with Michael Gallagher touching home Distillery’s second less than ten minutes later.

In the Championship, Luke Walsh hit a last gasp equaliser to cancel out Patrick Ferry’s opener as Warrenpoint Town salvaged a draw away to Ballinamallard United while goals from Jake Corbett and Garth Falconer saw Dundela and Dergview battle to a share of the spoils at Wilgar Park.
