The form book was torn up as none of the top three sides in the Lough 41 Premier Intermediate League managed to win on Saturday afternoon.

Leaders Ballymacash Rangers were forced to come from two goals down to salvage a point from Armagh City’s visit to the Bluebell Stadium.

The Eagles held the lead at the break thanks to efforts from Conor Mullen and James McCormack. Michael Moore pulled a goal back for ‘Cash early in the second half but it took a Guillaume finish deep into stoppage time to see Lee Forsythe’s side avoid defeat.

There was no such luck for Bangor after two Owen McKeown goals saw them go down for the first time this season away to Tobermore United.

The former Ballymena United and Ballyclare Comrades striker opened the scoring midway through the second half before making sure in the 93rd minute.

And Queen’s University, in third, also tasted defeat away to Lisburn Distillery.

Michael Gallagher opened the scoring after a quarter-of-an-hour but Ciaran O’Hare levelled for the Students around ten minutes later. That was how it stayed until late in the second half when Gallagher connected with a Josh Lynch corner to head home the winner.

Meanwhile, at the Dub, Portstewart defeated PSNI by the odd goal in three. Billy Cassells found the net for the home side but Kori Doherty and Taylor McBride registered for the Seahawks to ensure the points headed back to the north coast.
