Reese McInerney (25)
Nedas Macuilaitis (51)

Armagh City defeated Sport & Leisure Swifts at Holm Park despite playing for over an hour with ten men.

The Eagles moved in front on 25 minutes when debutant Reese McInerney sent a free-kick past 'keeper Brian McGurk from outside the area.

However, McInerney's joy was short-lived after being dismissed by referee Peter Murray just three minutes later for violent conduct.

Despite being a man down, City continued to look the better side and duly increased their lead early in the second half thanks to Nedas Macuilaitis' finish from a Conor Kerr cross.
