Dollingstown kicked off the new Lough 41 Premier Intermediate League campaign with a two-goal defeat of Lisburn Distillery at Planters Park.
The Dollybirds opened the scoring through Daniel Gordon after 20 minutes but despite periods of pressure from the Whites throughout the first half they failed to threaten the home advantage.
The home side made sure of the points just before the hour through Gary Liggett after the Whites rearguard failed to fully clear a free-kick.
And despite Johnny Clapham's side enjoying plenty of possession throughout the second period they ultimately found the Dollingstown defence impenetrable.
