SKY BLUES STUN CHAMPIONS AT INVER
Ballymena United stunned reigning champions Larne with victory at Inver Park in the Sports Direct Premiership.
It was a quiet first half in the derby clash, which burst to life early in the second half when Andy Ryan struck the crossbar for the home side on 50 minutes.
Ballymena carved out the first effort on target just before the hour mark as Ben Kennedy but struck low effort from outside the box to force a save from Rohan Ferguson.
With five minutes remaining Ballymena's in form talisman Kennedy headed home from a corner for the winner, which leaves the champions still looking for their first league win of the campaign.
