PORTS WIN IT AT THE DEATH
Ben Wylie bagged the last minute winner as Portadown came from behind to defeat Dungannon Swifts at Shamrock Park.
The visitors started brightly, coming close to opening the scoring early on through a Leo Alves curling strike that crashed back off the crossbar with no-one on hand to tuck away the rebound.
But the Swifts did edge in front with just under a quarter-of-an-hour on the clock through recent signing Danny Wallace after he finished from close range after Adam Glenny had nodded on a corner.
Kealan Dillon might have doubled Dungannon's lead around the half-hour mark but his attempt was palmed over by Aaron McCarey before, late in the first half, Steven Scott sent a strong strike over after working his way through the defence.
However Portadown got back on level terms early in the second half when, on 49 minutes, Ahu Obhakhan connected with Steven McCullough's cross from the left to fire past keeper Declan Dunne.
The sides traded chances after that, but neither really looked like finding a way through until the closing moments when James Knowles was thwarted by a superb stop from McCarey before, in the sixth minute of added time Wylie struck at the back post to head home Ryan Mayse's corner.
