SECOND HALF DOUBLE SINKS REDS
Two second half goals helped Larne defeat Cliftonville at Inver Park to move into fifth spot in the table.
Although scoreless at the break, Larne might have found the net when a Levi Ives effort came back off the left post while Dylan Sloan couldn't convert the follow up while, at the other end, Ryan Curran nodded a Rory Hale cross into the net only for the 'goal' to be ruled out by the officials.
The deadlock was broken less than a minute into the second half, however, when Luke Conlan turned the ball into his own net under pressure from Sloan following good work down the left by Ives and Joe Thomson.
Conor McKendry came close to doubling the home advantage only to fire over from close range while Hale came closest to levelling only to fire just wide.
But Larne made sure of the points with just over ten minutes remaining when Sloan drove the ball home after Aaron Donnelly and Benji Magee had combined to create the opening.
