Crusaders Strikers slipped to their first league defeat of the season with this two-goal reversal to Glentoran at Seaview.

Going into the game as league leaders Crusaders fell behind after just three minutes when Demi Vance crossed from the left into the box for Rachel Rogan to get across her marker well to finish.

Crusaders almost equalised straight away, Courtney Moore's inviting free kick found Amy McGivern who forced the Glens keeper Lauren Currie into making a good save to push the ball over the crossbar.

Glentoran enjoyed the majority of possession, with Crusaders trying to play on the break. The next clear cut chance fell to Crusaders, Morganne Beggs playing Emily Wilson through down the right, Wilson cut inside and her chip beat Currie but dropped just wide of the post.

Crusaders were forced into a change at half time, Nicole Adams picking up an injury was replaced by Kirsty McCaughtry in the goal. The substitute keeper pulled off a big point blank save to keep her side in the game, getting low to her right to save a shot from close range.

Mid way through the second half Glens substitute Ali McMaster scored to seal the win for her team, cutting inside on to her left foot from just inside the box to beat McCaughtry with a superb curled finish.
