LEADERS 'STUTE SALVAGE LATE POINT
League leaders Institute maintained their place at the top of the table after picking up a point away to Ards.
Ards held the advantage at the break when, on 38 minutes, the ball was headed around the area from a corner before Patrick Cafolla turned it over the line.
'Stute levelled five minutes into the break through Caoimhin Porter but Ards almost regained the lead soon after when Eamon Scannell slipped Max Miller through only for his attempt to hit an upright.
John Bailie's side did move back in front with four minutes remaining. A James McLaughlin free-kick was pushed onto the crossbar by Gareth Muldoon with Ethan Taggart getting to the ball first to find the net.
But, just moments after that, Institute equalised for the second time when Mikhail Kennedy knocked the ball home from the spot.
