Institute finally got their first points on board with victory over third placed Loughgall at Lakeview Park.
Still managed on an interim basis by Eddie Seydak and Gary Forth before Brian Donaghey takes charge of the reins next week, 'Stute reversed their recent run of losses against a Loughgall side that could have moved second had they won.
Both goals came after the break after a scoreless first half.
Aidan McCauley opened the scoring on 49 minutes with a back post header, although the Villagers almost levelled a few moments later only to be denied by the crossbar.
Then, with just over a quarter-of-an-hour remaining, Brendan McLaughlin made sure of the points with a tap in after Oran Brogan had broken down the right to get a cross in.
