NEWRY BACK ON TOP
Newry City moved back to the top of the Lough 41 Championship following a comprehensive three-goal defeat of Annagh United at the BMG Arena.
John McGovern, celebrating his call up into the Northern Ireland Under-21 panel, opened the scoring with just over a quarter-of-an-hour on the clock.
The visitors doubled their advantage on 30 minutes through Daniel Hughes to hold a commanding lead at the break.
And they made sure of the points just ten minutes into the second half when Jimmy Walker added a third to seal a welcome return to winning ways for Darren Mullen's side.
