The win lifts 'Breda three points clear of bottom spot, and just three behind the Swans in what is becoming a hotly contested battle in the lower reaches of the Championship.
Burns opened the scoring on with just under a quarter-of-an-hour remaining, and made sure of the points with a stoppage time spot-kick.
