Lloyd Anderson has joined the growing list of Carrick Rangers players committing their future to the club by agreeing new terms with boss Niall Currie.

The 22-year-old extends his stay at the Loughshore Hotel Arena after first arriving at the club from Crusaders, initially on loan, in August 2018 and since then has gone on to make 66 appearances, scoring eight times.

Currie was pleased to have the midfielder on his panel for another year.

"We have great faith in Lloyd and feel he continues to make great strides in his development. I'm delighted he has chosen to continue that with us and trusts us," he told the official club website.

"He has been an absolute pleasure from day one and his hunger to learn and develop is second to none. He has a wonderful future ahead of himself if he continues the path he's on, which I'm sure he will."
