Newry City and Ards remain top of the Lough 41 Championship with maximum points following four rounds of action.

Ards moved into pole position overnight after victory over Queen's University thanks to goals from Daniel Reynolds, Salou Jallow and James Ferrin but Newry edged back in front on Saturday afternoon courtesy of a Thomas Lockhart double securing the points away to Dergview.

Loughgall moved into third spot three points off the pace after an away win over Ballyclare Comrades. Andrew Hoey opened the scoring midway through the first half before Lorcan Forde made sure right at the end of normal time.

Two late goals saw Annagh United travel to the Brandywell and claim the points from their clash with Institute. Scoreless for most of the game, Niall Henderson edged the visitors in front on 83 minutes before Robbie Norton made it 2-0 a short time later.

Meanwhile, at Breda Park, Michael McLellan grabbed the only goal of the game as HW Welders got the better off Knockbreda while, on Friday evening, Ballinamallard United and Dundela battled to an equal share of the goals at Ferney Park.
