Linfield are back in European action on Tuesday evening when they travel to Lithuania to face Zalgiris Vilnius in the UEFA Champions League.

The 1st Qualifying Round First Leg tie kicks off at 6pm (BST) in the 5,000 capacity LFF Stadium, home of the Lithuanian national team.

Zalgiris are in the middle of their season, and currently lead the A Lyga by two points after 19 games. Managed by Vladimir Cheburin, the Žaliai Balti go into the game on the back of a ten match unbeaten run and have kept clean sheets in their last five outings.

Ghanaian Francis Kyeremeh leads the way in the scoring charts with eight goals, closely followed by Frenchman Hugo Vidémont on six.

Last season Zalgiris reached the second qualifying round of the Europa League, going out to Norwegian side Bodø/Glimt after defeating Estonian outfit Paide Linnameeskond in the previous round.

Linfield have prepared for their return to the continental stage with two behind closed doors friendlies against Kilmarnock and St. Mirren.

The return leg will take place at Windsor Park next week (Tuesday 13th July, kick-off 7:45pm). The winners will face either Ferencvaros (Hungary) or Prishtina (Kosovo) in the next round, while the losers will drop into the new Conference League to play one of CFR Cluj (Romania) or Borac Banja Luka (Bosnia Herzegovina).
