Linfield striker Shayne Lavery has been called up to the Northern Ireland squad for the forthcoming friendlies with Malta (30th May) and Ukraine (3rd June).
The 22-year-old, with 30 goals to his credit this season, joins with the squad after a successful few days which saw him help Linfield to a 25th league and cup double.
To date Lavery has seven caps to his name, most recently in March against Italy and the USA.
Northern Ireland face Malta at the Wörthersee Stadium in Klagenfurt (Austria) on Sunday evening before travelling to Kiev to take on Ukraine at the Dnipro Arena.
