It proved to be a high scoring afternoon in the Lough 41 Premier Intermediate League with Banbridge Town, Limavady United, Newington, Lisburn Distillery and Dollingstown all emerging with three points apiece.

Top scorers were Dollingstown who bagged eight goals without reply in a crushing victory over Tobermore United at Fortwilliam Park. Oisin Barr and Ben Neill found the net before the break, but the real damage was done in the second half when Daniel Gordon bagged a hat-trick alongside finishes from Jonathan Ewart, Gary Liggett and Mark McCabe.

Newington hit five as they defeated Moyola Park at Seaview. The visitors opened the scoring through Oisin O'Mullan, but this was cancelled out later in the first half by Gary Warwick. Then, after the interval, the sides initially traded goals courtesy of Darren Stuart and Jack Millar before Stuart struck again with Ciaran Lundy following up with a double to ensure the Swans emerged on top.

Limavady United had four different players on the scoresheet as they swept past the PSNI at The Showgrounds with Joe Curran, Alex Pomeroy, Dean Brown and Tiarnan Boorman all registering for the Roesiders.

Lisburn Distillery gained revenge on Portstewart following last week's five goal reversal to the Seahawks. Goals from Aaron Harris and Jordan Lucas fired the Whites in front after half-an-hour and although Zach Barr levelled for the home side it wasn't enough to deny the visitors the win.

Meanwhile, Bangor failed to go top of the table after going down 2-0 away to Banbridge Town. Both goals came in the first half with Sean Og Gallagher opening the scoring after half-an-hour and Reece Doyle adding a second moments from the break.
