Two stoppage time goals saw Bangor hit back to draw with Knockbreda in the Championship/PIL play-off first leg at Clandeboye Park.

Knockbreda, fighting to retain their place in the Championship, raced into the lead as early as the third minute after Ciaran Heggarty was played through to place the ball into the bottom corner of Matthew Anderson's net.

That was how it stayed until just before the hour when Max Greer added a second for 'Breda with a driven finish high into the net from the edge of the box.

As the minutes ticked down the visitors seemed to have done enough to take a handsome advantage into the second leg on Saturday before Bangor pulled one back in stoppage time through Ben Arthurs with a back post header.

Then, remarkably, the Seasiders struck again just moments later when, on this occasion, a Michael Halliday effort onto an upright came back for Isaac Fletcher to bundle home the equaliser.

The sides meet again at Breda Park on Saturday afternoon, kick-off 2pm.
