It was very much a case of as you were in the Lough 41 Championship following victories for the top four going into Saturday's games.

Leaders Loughgall held onto their seven point advantage with a narrow win away to Knockbreda. Benji Magee grabbed the only goal of the game with a tap-in after receiving the ball from Nedas Maciulaitis.

Dundela, still playing under interim boss Paul Moore, hit two goals without reply past Institute at the Brandywell. Eamon Fyfe bagged both, the first from close range after ten minutes before doubling up on the hour with a great strike.

Annagh United, in third, swept into a three-goal half-time lead at home to Newington.

Craig Taylor opened the scoring on six minutes, and added his second of the afternoon midway through the first half. Scott McCullough made it 3-0 a few minutes from the break with the Swans earning what proved to be a consolation just after the hour.

Warrenpoint Town also held a three-goal lead against HW Welders at Milltown but had to hold on to claim the points.

Adam Wixted scored at the beginning and end of the first half, with Ryan Swan adding number three not long after the break to put Barry Gray's side into a commanding position.

However Matthew Ferguson hit back with a double just after the hour to ensure a nervy finish for the home side.

Elsewhere, bottom of the table Dergview made it two wins on the bounce with a one-goal defeat of Ballyclare Comrades thanks to Bobby Deane's 78th minute header while first half goals from Ross Hunter and Adam Salley helped Ards to a 2-0 win over Ballinamallard United at Clandeboye Park.
