Carrick Rangers swept to a convincing four-goal victory over Glenavon at Mourneview Park.
The visitors moved in front after 19 minutes through Daniel Kelly who connected with Stewart Nixon's free-kick to direct a glancing header past Declan Brown.
Nixon might have added a second midway through the first half but his effort from inside the area came back off the bar.
Carrick doubled their advantage just before the break after David Cushley played Lloyd Anderson through to coolly slot the finish past Brown.
The visitors hit the woodwork for a second time not long after the interval courtesy of Reece Glendinning's 40-yard effort but they did add a third on the hour when Corey McMullan lifting the ball over Brown from outside the area.
A fourth arrived on 64 minutes, and Kelly's second of the game, when he got the final touch to a Cushley corner.
Play was suspended with 19 minutes remaining following a serious leg injury to Carrick's Lee McNulty. The game was subsequently abandoned but it was later confirmed that the result will stand.
