Loughgall claimed their first away win of the season with victory over Dergview at Darragh Park.

Most of the early chances fell to the Villagers with both David McCullough and Jordan Bell shooting over the bar.

The deadlock was broken just before the half-hour mark when Dergview keeper Alan Buchanan rushed out to clear the ball only to miss completely to leave an empty net for Peter Campbell capitalise.

And another goalkeeper error lead to Loughgall's second on the stroke of half-time when Buchanan fired a backpass straight at Campbell who gleefully knocked home his second of the game.

Campbell might have grabbed his hat-trick after the break only for his goalbound effort to be cleared off the line by Blaine Burns.

However, Marc McConnell did add a third on 73 minutes. Dergview were awarded a free-kick just outside the box but Paul Smith;s cross was booted away by Graeme Taylor to McConnell on the half way line who duly raced through on goal beating two defenders and placing a powerful shot past the keeper to score.

In the closing minutes Loughgall hit the post twice in quick succession with strikes from Campbell and McCullough.

With the last action of the game Loughgall were denied their first clean sheet of the season when Andrew Sproule headed in to give Dergview a consolation.
