Bluefin Sport Championship side Limavady United have announced the double signing of Joe McCready and Stuart McMullan.

McCready rejoins the Roesiders from Coleraine, he had enjoyed a fine goalscoring spell last season at the Limavady Showgrounds with 25 goals en route to the Premier Intermediate League title. The former Dungannon Swifts and Institute forward scored 2 goals in 17 Premiership appearances for the Bannsiders this season to date, including a dramatic late winner against Cliftonville back in October.

The official Limavady United Twitter stated; “The Roesiders are delighted to announce that Joe McCready has returned to the Showgrounds. Joe was an integral part of last year’s treble winning side and his return is a massive boost for the club.”

Joining McCready is defender Stuart McMullan from Carrick Rangers. The former Coleraine, Ards and Larne player has struggled for game time under David McAlinden since signing in May 2017. The pair are the second and third January signings following Zach Barr from Ballyclare Comrades to the North West.

Next up for Limavady United is a trip to Dergview on Saturday in the Bluefin Sport Championship on Saturday (27th January) with a 2pm kick-off.
