LUCK wasn't on Knockbreda's side in an exciting top of the table clash at Hagan Park.

Coagh took the lead midway through the first half from Mark Scott before doubling the lead just minutes later.

John Burns was judged to have handled the ball in the box and Jason Gillespie stepped up to score from the penalty spot.

'Breda then won a penalty of their own and 'keeper Paul Mateer converted his sixth spot-kick of the season to leave the score 2-1 to the home side at the break.

Knockbreda started the second half the brighter team and Daniel Hanna was unlucky not to get his second goal in two games as his thunderous volley crashed against the bar.

New signing Mark Miller then had a spectacular volley of his own well kept out before Jordan Clarke drew a fanstastic save from the Coagh 'keeper.

But when it looked like nothing would go in for 'Breda, a Paul Young cross from the left flank was headed in by forward Miller for a goal on his debut.

Knockbreda then had chances to win the game, with Hanna cracking the bar for the second time with a 30-yard drive.

The draw leaves 'Breda in joint third, two points behind Lurgan Celtic in second place.
