Lisburn Distillery kept their hopes of making the promotion play-offs alive with this narrow defeat of Banbridge Town.

The Whites trail Queen's University by five points in the race for second spot but, crucially, host the Students on Tuesday night in a game that will decide who will face Dergview for a place in the Championship next season.

Scoreless at the break, Alan McMurtry grabbed what proved to be the winner nine minutes into the second half when he beat a Banbridge defender to the ball before showing great composure to fire past the advancing Gerard McErlean just inside the post.
