Newly promoted Dollingstown raced into the lead midway through the first half when Glenn Hand slotted past Joel Madison.

Portstewart levelled on the stroke of half-time when Ryan Doherty was brought down inside the box before skipper James Peden stepped up to convert from the spot.

Then, four minutes into the second half, David McClements fired Portstewart in front with a curling effort to the far post before Luke McDowell another a third on 53 minutes after bringing the ball forward past three defenders and finishing with a chipped effort past keeper Stephen Croft.

Doherty completed the scoring with just under a quarter-of-an-hour remaining after being the offside trap from a Peden clearance to calmly divert the ball past Croft.
