Ten man Ards made it two wins from two with a late winner as they hosted Loughgall at the Bangor Fuels Arena.
The visitors raced into an early lead, finding the net through a Mark Patton free-kick during the opening exchanges.
It was a lead they held for the majority of the first half before Patrick Cafolla levelled for Ards a few minutes before the break.
However, Cafolla - scorer of the winner at the weekend - was dismissed around the hour mark leaving John Bailie's side with a fight on their hands if they were to maintain their winning start to the campaign.
But they battled well to do just that with two late goals. Kym Nelson edged them in front with a header from a corner in the closing minutes before, right at the end, Jamie Glover knocked home what proved to be the winner.
