RYAN McIlmoyle came close for Coleraine early in proceedings with a low shot which Robert Robinson did well to save.

Later in the half McIlmoyle also saw a 25-yard effort drift wide while Leon Knight might have done better with a header around the half-hour mark.

For DC Ryan Henderson perhaps crafted their best first half opportunity on eight minutes only to fire straight at 'keeper Michael Doherty.

Both sides were reduced to ten men after the break.

Coleraine lost Aaron Canning four minutes in for collecting his second booking while, on 66 minutes, Darren Murray was shown a straight red card following an off-the-ball incident with Damien McNulty.

Curtis Allen grabbed what proving to be the winning goal with a quarter-of-an-hour remaining after he caught the home defence cold to slide a low ball past Robinson.
