In the end it wasn't to be for Coleraine as they exited the Europa Conference League at the hands of Bosnian side Velež at Mourneview Park.

Trailing 2-1 from last week's first leg the Bannsiders needed to overturn that result and duly levelled the tie on aggregate just after the half-hour mark when Matthew Shevlin combined with Jamie Glackin to flick the ball home at the near post.

However Velež hit back on 54 minutes through Brazilian striker Brandao - who bagged both goals last week - with a curling, albeit deflection aided, effort past Gareth Deane.

Then, with less than 20 minutes remaining, Nemanja Anđušić effectively put the outcome beyond doubt with a superb strike into the top corner from the edge of the box.
