Glenavon have unveiled the triple signing of Andrew Waterworth, Mark Haughey and Mark Stafford from recently crowned Danske Bank Premiership champions Linfield.
The trio are departing Windsor Park because of the plans to adopt a full-time structure, a move which doesn't suit the work commitments of the players concerned.
Waterworth, 35, had been with Linfield for eight years and prior to that made his name with a further four seasons at Glentoran. Last season he bagged 18 goals in 42 appearances for the Blues.
30-year-old Haughey makes his return to Mourneview Park after leaving to join Linfield in May 2013. A staple in the Windsor Park defence, he clocked up 39 outings last term and even found the net on a couple of occasions towards the end of the season.
Stafford, 33, turned out 16 times during the 2020/21 campaign. The central defender joined Linfield in June 2015 from Ballinamallard United and went onto make over 150 appearances over the years.
