Another strong contingent of Danske Bank Women’s Premiership stars make up the Northern Ireland senior women’s squad for the double header against North Macedonia.

There are fifteen league representatives in the 23-player squad named by manager Kenny Shiels.

The biggest pool of call-ups come from league champions Glentoran Women who have seven players in the panel; Jackie Burns, Joely Andrews, Nadene Caldwell, Chloe McCarron, Caragh Milligan, Kerry Beattie and Lauren Wade.

There are five Cliftonville Ladies players in the squad, including a recall for Caitlin McGuinness, who joins club team-mates Kelsie Burrows, Marissa Callaghan, Louise McDaniel and Kirsty McGuinness.

Finally, Crusaders Strikers add a blend of experience and youth to the team with centurion cap Julie Nelson alongside teenage stars Rachel McLaren and Maddy Harvey Clifford.

Northern Ireland face two important World Cup Qualifiers starting with a trip to Skopje on Thursday 25 November (12 noon kick-off).

They return to a sold out Seaview on Monday 29 November to face off against their North Macedonian opponents once again.

Northern Ireland are currently third behind England and Austria in European Qualifying Group D. They have seven points from four qualifiers to date. North Macedonia are in fourth place in the six-team group with three points from four matches.
