NIFL WELCOME NEW INDEPENDENT BOARD MEMBER

The NI Football League are delighted to announce the appointment of Ciara McReynolds to the Board of Directors.

Ciara comes to NIFL with strong experience in the legal field and is currently a senior solicitor at DAC Beachcroft in Belfast.

At the company’s Annual General Meeting in August, members voted to add a new independent member to the Board to support the ongoing growth of the league.

She is no stranger to football having previously served as a member of the Appeals Committee and the Licencing Appeals Committee for the Irish Football Association over the past four years.

Speaking of her appointment Ciara said; “There is no doubt the Irish League has gone from strength to strength over recent years. The development of clubs is a credit to their hard work and a reflection of the encouragement from NIFL. I am delighted to be joining the Board as a new Independent Director at such an exciting time and using my experience for the continued growth of the game.”

Chairman Colin Kennedy stated, “I’m pleased to welcome Ciara to the NI Football League, we are committed to serving our clubs and this appointment is another hugely positive step forward. The NIFL Board are confident that Ciara's professional background and experience will ensure invaluable skills and knowledge are utilised for the benefit of all our members".

The NI Football League Board currently consists of; Colin Kennedy (Chair, Independent), Colin McKendry (Vice Chair, Coleraine), Keith Boyd (Dungannon Swifts), Andrew Conn (Linfield Ladies), Nigel Lecky (Dergview), Jonathan Madill (Independent), Connaire McGreevy (Warrenpoint Town), Ciara McReynolds (Independent), Hubert Watson (Dollingstown).
