The Danske Bank Women’s Premiership continues on Wednesday night with the 13th round of fixtures with all eight teams in action.

Arguably the biggest clash of the evening comes at Seaview as title-chasing Glentoran Women travel to Crusaders Strikers in a clash between two of the top three sides.

Across North Belfast at Solitude, Cliftonville Ladies are hopeful of making it 12 wins from 12 games as they host Lisburn Ladies.

Elsewhere, league leaders Linfield Ladies travel to Sion Swifts Ladies in the race for a top-half finish and Mid Ulster Ladies have the chance to move off the foot of the table with a visit to Derry City Women.

Cliftonville Ladies vs Lisburn Ladies, Solitude, 7.45pm
Cliftonville Ladies are hopeful of continuing their perfect record in the Danske Bank Women’s Premiership as they host Lisburn Ladies.

The home side won the reverse fixture back in May with a comfortable five-goal win at the Bluebell Stadium in the first top-flight meeting between the sides.

Kirsty McGuinness opened the scoring in that clash followed by braces from both Caitlin McGuinness and Fionnula Morgan as the Reds wrapped up a handsome win.

Derry City Women vs Mid Ulster Ladies, Brandywell, 7.45pm
Mid Ulster Ladies would move off the foot of the table with a win at Derry City Women, who sit two points above them in the standings.

The visitors have picked up just one point so far this campaign – which was in the reverse fixture at the Mid Ulster Sports Arena earlier this season, which ended 1-1.

Leah McGonagle netted a last-minute equaliser for the Candystripes after Sharagh Murphy opened the scoring.

Both teams are looking for their first league win of the campaign in this fixture.

Sion Swifts Ladies vs Linfield Ladies, Melvin Sports Complex, 7.45pm
A late goal from Leontia McVarnock – who has subsequently joined Crusaders Strikers – rescued a point for Sion Swifts Ladies in their league meeting at Linfield Ladies earlier in the season.

Keri Halliday had opened the scoring for the Blues before the points were shared, while the competitiveness between the two was shown as Sion eliminated Linfield from the Women’s Premiership League Cup in a penalty shootout after a goalless draw.

These two sides are locked together on 17 points – Sion have a game in hand but a worse goal difference by two goals – as the two battle for a top-half finish.

Crusaders Strikers vs Glentoran Women, Seaview, 8pm
Glentoran Women trail Cliftonville Ladies at the league summit by eight points but they do have a game in hand while the two will play each other a further three times this season.

This trip to Seaview is a must-win game for the Glens against a Crues team who have won six of their last seven league games and consolidated their top three status.

The Glens did win the reverse fixture in May 5-0 with Lauren Wade – who has subsequently joined WSL club Reading Women – netting a brace, with this game likely to be much closer.
