The Sports Direct Women's Premiership was well represented as Northern Ireland kicked off the inaugural UEFA Women's Nations League with a double header against the Republic of Ireland and Albania.

On Saturday Tanya Oxtoby's side travelled to Dublin to take on the Republic of Ireland in the Aviva Stadium, but ended up on the wrong side of the 3-0 scoreline.

Demi Vance, Emily Wilson and Joely Andrews (all Glentoran Women) were all named in the starting XI alongside Cliftonville Ladies duo Marissa Callaghan and Abbie Magee.

In addition, Chloe McCarron and Nadene Caldwell (both Glentoran) came off the bench later in the game.

Then, on Tuesday night, Northern Ireland defeated Albania by a single goal at Seaview.

Vance again started the game with McCarron, Caldwell and Kirsty McGuinness also taking their place in the starting line-up. Callaghan, Wilson and Andrews all came off the bench after the break.

Lilie Woods (Mid Ulster Ladies), Rachael Norney (Cliftonville Ladies), Caitlin McGuinness (Cliftonville Ladies) and Kerry Beattie (Glentoran Women) were also named in the panel for both games.
