Action from Warrenpoint Town's victory over Ballymacash Rangers

It remains too tight to call at the top of the Playr-Fit Premier Intermediate League following weekend victories for Limavady United and Armagh City.

There were also wins for Dollingstown, Lisburn Distillery, Coagh United, Rathfriland Rangers and Warrenpoint Town.

Limavady United remain a point to the good at the summit after coming from behind to defeat Banbridge Town at Crystal Park.

Michael McCavitt had fired the home side in front with just under a quarter-of-an-hour on the clock but Lewis Tosh hit back for the visitors around ten minutes later.

The Roesiders then went on to claim the win midway through the second half after Graham Crown and John Butcher found the net within a few minutes of each other.

Armagh City had moved into the lead overnight with a comprehensive defeat of Moyola Park at the Coleraine Showgrounds.

The Eagles seized control of the game with a couple of goals just before the half-hour mark when first Noeem Oladunjoye and then Igor Rutkowski found the net within five minutes of each other.

Scott McCann added to their advantage on 39 minutes, and although Adam Gray pulled one back for Moyola around the hour Andrew Wilson restored City's three-goal cushion just a few minutes after that.

Third placed Rathfriland Rangers stormed to a stunning 6-0 victory over Portstewart at Iveagh Park.

Jack Chambers and Matthew Holloway had Rangers two goals to the good at the break, with both also finding the net in the second half in addition to strikes from Jordan Hayes and Ruari Fitzpatrick.

Dollingstown also got amongst the goals, strolling to a 5-1 defeat of Queen’s University at Planters Park.

Harry Norton broke the deadlock from the spot after just eight minutes, but Mikey Withers levelled for the Students soon after.

Jonathan Ewart restored home advantage a few minutes later before Oran O’Kane hit another towards the end of the first half.

O’Kane then went on to claim his second of the afternoon just past the hour with Daniel Gordon wrapping things up five minutes from the end.

Warrenpoint Town returned to winning ways with a narrow defeat of Ballymacash Rangers at Milltown, with the only goal of the game coming through Dauda Shotayo in first half stoppage time.

Elsewhere, Fiontan O’Boyle hit the second half winner as Coagh United got past PSNI at The Dub while Ryan McNickle and Joe Tully were on target as Lisburn Distillery defeated Tobermore United at Ballyskeagh, with Tom Patchett registering for the visitors.
